Boasting 20 million viewers per month, Detroit based Gas Station TV has installed 90 flickering flat screens on gas pumps at the Mass Pike's service plazas. The TVs serve up a 4 minute content loop in an otherwise media-void environment. I wonder which advertisers will choose to target the road weary travelers paying a premium to fill up on toll roads. Looks like primo space for hybrids, salty junk food, and GPS devices.
I'm interested... Road trip to Natick, anyone? Noses on not paying the toll!
